The US Energy Information Administration (sub-agency of the US Department of Energy) collects, analyzes, and disseminates independent and impartial energy information to promote sound policymaking, efficient markets, and public understanding of energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.

World Energy Outlook from the OECD's International Energy Agency publishes annual energy projections. Each edition tends to have a particular geographical or policy focus.

The OECD's International Energy Agency, Key World Energy Statistics is the annual booklet of the IEA’s most used statistics.

British Petroleum publishes an annual report on world energy for oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydroelectricity, and renewable energy. Data is downloadable in Excel format.

The International Energy Outlook presents an assessment by the U.S. Energy Information Administration of the outlook for international energy markets through 2050.

US Energy Information Administraion's Annual Energy Outlook provides modeled projections of domestic energy markets.

The US Energy Information Administration tracks energy consumption by energy type.

Pricing and other data on petroleum, natural gas, electricity, coal, nuclear, renewables, and alternative fuels.

Please contact them for assistance with these databases. The Kresge Library also has two Bloomberg terminals available to students. However, downloading is not available from these terminals.
