  • Open-source textbooks

Kresge staff regret that they cannot purchase or distribute printed books. We are a "digital library," so our physical storage space is very limited.

Please instruct students to purchase the textbooks on their own. Instructors can do this by "reporting" printed textbooks to the online Barnes & Noble bookstore, just as they would "report" a textbook selection to a brick-and-mortar campus bookstore. (All Faculty Support Coordinators can help with this step.)

Upon receiving your request, Barnes & Noble staff will add your textbook to the Barnes & Noble online bookstore. If you agree, they will offer students many options for purchasing or renting.

Please also explore our no-cost alternatives to the options above.
