The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Home Price Indices are the leading measures of U.S. residential real estate prices, tracking changes in the value of residential real estate nationally.

The National Association of REALTORS® is America's largest trade association, representing 1.3 million members, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. Membership is composed of residential and commercial brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others engaged in the real estate industry. NAR produces research reports, housing statistics, and commercial research.

New residential construction and sales, construction spending and building permits data for the US. The Annual Characterisitcs of New Housing reports cover details on home features, financing, heating, square feet and more.

The PwC Investor Survey is an authoritative source for capitalization and discount rates, cash flow assumptions and actual criteria of active investors. Each quarterly survey issue contains: cash flow assumption data for select national and regional markets, Overall Cap Rate analysis, PwC Real Estate Barometer, Market pricing opinions, Valuation issues, and cash flow assumption data for niche national markets including Hospitality, Development land, Student housing, and Self storage. Redfin is a residential real estate brokerage that tracks home values in the US and Canadian markets. The company's news page tracks residential housing markets, migration, policy, trends, and related data.

Zillow is the leading real estate and rental marketplace. The site includes homes for sale, homes for rent and homes not currently on the market, as well as Zestimate home values, Rent Zestimates and other home-related information.

American FactFinder provides access to data about the United States, Puerto Rico and the Island Areas. The data in American FactFinder come from several censuses and surveys, including the American Community and Housing surveys, the Economic Census and annual Commodity Flow Survey.

The AHS is sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. The survey is the most comprehensive national housing survey in the United States.

Social Explorer contains data from the first Census in 1790 to the present day. Using their data, the user can generate maps of population or specific demographic variables by location, as well as reports.
