The Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) includes the largest collection of longitudinal hospital care data in the United States. HCUP Databases contain information on inpatient stays, emergency department visits, and ambulatory care.

SHADAC is a multidisciplinary health policy research center with a focus on state health policy. SHADAC is supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is affiliated with the Health Policy and Management Division of the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
State Health Compare hosts 45 data measures on a range of health topics including insurance coverage; cost of care; health behaviors; health outcomes; access to and utilization of care; public health; and social and economic determinants of health.

The NASS is the largest all-payer ambulatory surgery database in the United States, yielding national estimates of major ambulatory surgery encounters performed in hospital-owned facilities.

NHCS collects data on patient care in hospital-based settings to describe patterns of health care delivery and utilization in the United States. Settings include inpatient, emergency (EDs), and outpatient departments (OPDs).
