Tools providing actual freight rates and benchmarks are not available as open sources or published in the shipping trade press. Determining a freight rate from point A to B for a particular product and transport mode is a customized process and a negotiated outcome. Except for Truckinginfo, the following are examples of fee-based commercial tools that provide freight rate metrics but their subscriptions are not available to libraries.
